IFBB meets President of India, H.E. Smt Pratibha Devishing Patil.
Dr. Rafael Santonja accompanied by the President of the Indian
Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation, Mr. Ranjithsinh Mohite-Patil
and the General Secretary Mr. Sanjay More, had the honour to
visit H.E. Smt Pratibha Devishingh Patil, President of India, at
her official residence in New Delhi.
In the course of the visit, Rafael Santonja presented to Smt
Pratibha Devishingh Patil a special IFBB award as a token of
respect and appreciation for her support to healthy life style
activities.
H.E. Smt Pratibha Devishingh Patil forwarded the attached
welcome message with the occasion of the IFBB Asian
Championships and Congress held in Aurangabad from 23-28 July
2009.

Dr. Santonja had a detailed meeting with Mr. Randhir Singh
concerning the present situation in Asian bodybuilding.

Aurangabad, India July 26th
Sheik Abdalah of Bahrain, elected new President.
With the participation of over twenty Asian countries and the
presence of the IFBB President and other IFBB Executive members,
the Asian countries celebrated elections of their new Executive
board with Sheik Abdalah (Bahrain), President; Mr. Sanjay More
(India), General Secretary Mr. Ibrahim Kafoud (Qatar); Sir Jeff
Schucrof (Sri Lanka); Bader Boodi (Kuwait), amongst a selected
group of officials representing all Asian regions, conforming a
very strong, democratic body that will lead the sport of
bodybuilding to new achievements in the Continent in favor and
respect to the rules.
